Many children and adults who use wheelchairs lack head control and are unable to hold their head upright to various extents. This negatively affects their day-to-day life, causing functional difficulties around breathing, swallowing, and communicating, as well as self-esteem issues.

About Us

Headovations LTD was founded in 2014 by Mr. Ben Cohen Gazit. Dedicated to providing innovative aid and safety head support novelty solutions, the company’s flagship product, NapUp, was designed to protect sleeping children whose heads are most vulnerable during car rides. The base idea quickly morphed into an even greater mission of providing all-encompassing and complete head support solutions for those whose lives could be momentously changed for the better.

Healthy and proper head posture, which is integral and even taken for granted by most people, is a fundamental part of any human function, starting from essential basic physical abilities, all the way through to deep mental aspects. Correct head posture enables smoother breathing, better oxygen intake, easier eating and swallowing, and improved eye gaze control enabling interpersonal and social communication.
Additionally, proper head posture leads to more symmetrical seating and positioning, considered to be, in many cases, a factor that elevates both self-efficacy and self-esteem.
